One early morning in early summer, 2010, a group of 30 musicians got together under the walls of Derry for an impromtu gig.

They were there to show their support for the city's bid for the title of UK city of culture 2013. It was all the brainchild of Donegal fiddle player Matthew McGranaghan as Barry Byrne found out when he called down with a video camera to see what was being called a Flashmob event.
