What should the main priorities be for the north west? The local supermarket owner, Eamon Gee, argues that people here must speak with a united voice if there's to be any hope of their ideas being implemented. At Eamon's request, the Paul McFadden Show invited listeners to come up with a suggestion for just ONE thing that could help revive Derry's economy.

Eamon Gee, the supermarket owner, says you can't always get what you want. But if you come up with a single big idea, that everyone backs, there's a chance it might just happen. His idea - a 10,000 student independent university.

INTEGRATED TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Tour guide, Martin McCrossan, says the city needs new infrastructure - light railway, motorway, planes, and waterboats.

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING PARK

Liam Gallagher, a member of Derry Trades Council, calls for an advanced manufacturing park backed by a state-of-the-art manufacturing research and development centre.

PEACE INSTITUTE

The community activist, Jon McCourt, wants to see an international peace institute.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Jack McCauley, the Principal of St Patrick's and St Bridget's College in Claudy says we must "take responsibility for our own success".

CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Niall McCaughan from the Playhouse claims a cultural festival would generate income for Derry.
