The Irish Revenue and Customs wouldn't comment specifically about the case of Margaret Davoren. She spent six hours refusing to get out of her car after being ordered to pay Vehicle Registration Tax to import it from Northern Ireland.
But the local customs enforcement officer Sean Kelleher did talk to Enda McClafferty about how they conduct such operations.
