We’re on-air every Friday night at 6pm for an hour’s round-up. If you miss it you can listen ‘on-demand’ whenever the mood takes you for the next seven days via the glorious 91Èȱ¬ Radio Player. Or, if you’re flash and have a mobile MP3 player, you can download a section of the show and wander the streets with us blasting in your ears. Our podcast is released following each show and available for download for the next seven days. About the team Jon is the show’s main presenter. Starting out firstly on this show, he’s since gone on to work his magic on other shows too – but still remains integral to The Weekender. Griff is the show’s producer and reporter, working behind-the-scenes to make sure there’s a show to broadcast come 6pm. He also keeps the website up-to-date. We also have a dedicated (they need to be we don’t pay them) team who regularly contribute to the show. Affectionately known as TEAM WKDR, they give us their opinions of local gigs from time to time.
