Behind each town lies some fascinating stories
about its people and places - and Watton is no different.
Do you know how Watton got its name or what now
stands in place of the old water pump on the High Street?
On our tour of the town we find the answers to
some of these questions.
Michael Adcock |
We wanted to see Watton through the eyes of someone
who has lived in the town all their life.
So who better to be our guide than Michael Adcock,
whose son Paul now runs the family fim, Adcock and Sons TV and Electrical,
in the High Street.
The Adcocks have been trading in Watton since 1811,
when Michael鈥檚 great-great- grandfather, Samuel Adcock, brought
his clockmakers to the town.
