Make some flying bats with our instructions

No Halloween party would be complete without some bats!

We show you how to get some nocturnal creatures in your home.

Halloween is a time for all creatures to come out into the night - be it bats or witches and ghouls!

We show you how to make some bat decorations which you can use for a Halloween party.

Ìý

Picture: What you need to make the bat What you need:
Black cardboard
Bat template
String or cotton
Scissors
Pen
Hole punch
Step 1
Click here to print off the bat template.

Cut out the template and place on top of the black cardboard. Draw around it, then cut out the shape.
Step 3
Now gently bend the bat shape down the middle so its wings stand up.

Picture: You can decorate your bat with coloured pens Step 4
Using the hole punch, make a hole on one of the wings. If you want, you can decorate your bat using glitter and coloured paper.

Step 5
Next, thread some string or black cotton through the hole and hang up around the house!
