Pupils from Colby School have been working with
the 91热爆 Voices project to make three wildlife films based in their
school grounds.
The films were premiered at the Wild in Your Garden
event in Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich, Monday 30 May, 2005.
Gary Standley, of the 91热爆 Voices project said:
"This is the third time the 91热爆 and Norfolk
nature organisations have held Wild In Your Garden. The highlight
was the premiere of the three wildlife films made by the Colby School
pupils," he said.
"The young children have spent the last four
months filming the arrival of spring in their school grounds and
visitors were able to hear the children talk about their work as
well as seeing the films. They've done all the filming themselves,"
he added.
The event, included activities for children such
as bird and bat-box-making.
The Norfolk Wildlife Trust, British Wildflower
Plants of South Burlingham and British Wildflower plants were also
there.
Norwich in Bloom provided visitors with a chance
to plant their own sunflower, and everyone who went along received
a free packet of wildflower seeds to take away with them.
