What you will need

Picture: your equipment

Coloured pens
Coloured paper, size A4
Double-sided sticky tape
or glue
Scissors
Ask an adult to help you as scissors can be very sharp!

Instructions

Picture: fold your paper in half
Ìý Step 1
Fold the A4 paper in half (landscape), open it up and and then fold again the other way (portrait).
Step 2
Re-fold the paper so it is folded lengthways (landscape). Now cut a slit into the folded edge of the paper, about 3-4 cms long.
Ìý

Picture: fold back the sides of the cut
Ìý Step 3
Take the corners of the slit and fold them back on both sides so you have two triangle flaps.
Step 4
Turn the paper over and fold them the other way. It should look like this.

Picture: Unfold the whole paper so it opens up again
Ìý Step 5
Unfold the whole paper. Re-fold it portrait, so the folded edge is at the top and the slit is facing you.
