Taylor shows up for Beyonce's Renaissance film premiere
We love to see celebrities supporting other celebrities, and pop pals Beyonce and Taylor Swift have once again shown up for one another, both physically and emotionally.
After Beyonce made a special appearance at the premiere of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film, Tay Tay has returned the favour.
The 'Shake It Off' singer made a red carpet appearance at Beyonce's Renaissance tour film in London on Thursday.
Their support for one another goes back a long way, so we thought we would take a look at the friendship we all want to be a part of.
The Bey-Tay love was sparked at the MTV Video Music Awards way back in 2009.
Then 19 years old, Taylor won one of the big awards of the night - Best Video by a female artist, for her hit "You Belong with Me."
However, controversial rapper Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech, snatching the mic and declaring that Beyonce should have won instead.
Later on in the ceremony, having picked up an award herself, Beyonce graciously sacrificed her winning moment and invited Taylor to step back on stage and properly finish her speech.
The pair then met at various other awards shows, fashion events or swanky parties and there were often snaps of the superstars hugging, chatting or smiling backstage, such as here New York Fashion Week in 2011.
As you can see, (below, far right) Taylor's Mum even got in on the backstage meet ups!
Beyonce attended Taylor's festive-themed birthday party in 2014, alongside other famous pals including US pop star Justin Timberlake, sister/girl band HAIM, model Karlie Kloss and British singer Sam Smith.
Skip forwards a few years, and Beyonce sent Taylor flowers after she won the top prize of Album of the Year at the Grammy's in 2021.
She had a pretty successful night herself, breaking the record for the most decorated female artist in Grammy history, winning four on the night and taking her total to 28.
She has since surpassed this again, earning an incredible 32 Grammy wins - justifying her nickname Queen B once again.
And finally, we arrive in 2023 with both performers releasing films of their record breaking world tours.
Beyonce showed her support for Taylor by turning up as the surprise guest of honour to the Eras Tour Premiere in Los Angeles.
Swifty showed her appreciation for her friend in a post on Instagram.
It read:
"I'm so glad I'll never know what my life would've been like without Beyonce's influence. The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She's been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairy tale".
