Euro 2024 qualification: Wales drawn against Finland in play-off semi-final in Cardiff
Wales will play Finland in their Euro 2024 play-off semi-final in Cardiff on 21 March.
It comes after a disappointing end to their group matches, when they drew with Turkey on Tuesday 21 November.
The winner of the match in March will face Poland or Estonia five days later with the winner of that match getting the prize of a place at the championship in Germany.
Wales have enjoyed success in recent play-offs, beating Austria and then Ukraine to reach the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, qualifying for the tournament for the first time since 1958.
If this Wales team can get to Euro 2024, it will mean a fourth major tournament out of the last five.
Whoever they play, Wales enter the play-offs with plenty of confidence after an unbeaten six-game run of three wins and three draws.
Their last meeting with Finland was a draw in September 2021, when Harry Wilson missed a penalty.
England and Scotland have already qualified for Euro 2024 but Northern Ireland are out.
