Incredible sea sparkle pictures in Swansea
No, it's not magic, the sea really is glowing!
These incredible pictures were taken by photographer Alyn Wallace on a beach in Swansea, Wales.
They show a special type of glow-in-the-dark algae called Noctiluca scintillans - also known as 'sea sparkle'.
By day the algae appears a pinky-red colour, but by night it becomes a magical blue.
The reasons the algae glows is because it reacts to movement nearby to it.
Sea sparkle usually prefers warmer more tropical waters, so this was a rare sighting.
