The families of Kevin McDaid and Damien Fleming were in court - as were a large number of supporters of the accused.

During the hearing, it was revealed that a preliminary post mortem examination concluded Mr McDaid died from a heart attack. Our reporter in the North East, Nicola Weir, was at the court.
