Bursary available for students interested in regulation
Jersey's competition watchdog is offering a bursary for a local student interested in a career in regulation.
The Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority (JCRA) will contribute towards university fees for a degree course relevant to the JCRA's work.
John Curran, the executive director, said they would make it available for those going to university in September.
He said: "Given the rising cost of going to university, it is an excellent opportunity for a Jersey student."
The JCRA is offering 拢1,500 a year towards the university degree along with eight weeks' paid work experience each year.
Mr Curran said: "Having a local student come back to Jersey and make a contribution to the work of the JCRA would be hugely satisfying."
The closing date for applications is 11 March.
