States to review health services
Jersey's future health, community and social care needs are being reviewed.
The health and social services department's review will also consider the needs of an ageing population.
It will look at paying for new treatments, how to look after people living with long-term diseases and the provision of community-based care.
An earlier review found that meeting States targets to cut health spending by 10% would not be possible without a serious impact on services.
So it recommended further work be done to find a new and sustainable health and social care system.
The review launched on Monday will investigate how a safe and affordable health service can be run in the future.
