Jersey sees a rise in unemployment
The number of people registered as unemployed in Jersey but looking for work has risen according to the States.
June saw 1,110 people registered as out of work but seeking employment, compared with 1,060 people in May.
The number of people registered as unemployed but looking for work last month was 150 more than in June 2009.
The States said that since January the number of people seeking work had been "relatively stable" compared with rises seen in the latter half of 2009.
