Crews put out large mountain fire above Llangollen
Two hectares of heather have been burned in a large mountain fire in Denbighshire.
The blaze broke out on Wednesday evening but North Wales Fire Service confirmed the fire near Llangollen was extinguished by around 22:00 GMT.
The area, which is a Site of Special Scientific interest, is along Panorama Walk below the Eglwyseg escarpment, above Llangollen.
Crews from Llangollen, Wrexham, Buckley and Chirk helped extinguish the fire.
