Holywell: Motorcyclist dies following crash with car

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in north Wales.

North Wales Police said the two-vehicle crash happened on Halkyn Road in Holywell, Flintshire, at about 05:50 GMT on Thursday.

The 41-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which involved the motorcycle and a silver Vauxhall Vectra.

Police have closed the road and appealed for any witnesses of the collision to contact the force.
