Runaway horse killed in collision with car near Dunblane
A runaway horse has been killed after being hit by a car on the A9 near Dunblane.
The incident happened at about 20:35 on Monday.
Police Scotland said a vet attended the incident and the animal was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of the car was uninjured.
The collision temporarily forced the closure of the northbound carriageway of the road, which reopened at about 22:15.
