Aberdeenshire Council asks for public pothole reports
People in Aberdeenshire have been asked to report potholes to the council in the wake of the recent severe winter weather.
The freeze and following thaw has led to potholes on many of the area's rural roads.
The north east of Scotland had snow for several weeks from November.
Residents can report potholes and road defects to the council by calling 08456 081205, texting 07624 820722, or e-mailing roads@aberdeenshire.gov.uk
Peter Argyle, chairman of Aberdeenshire Council's infrastructure services committee, said: "The severe winter weather has had an impact on our roads and it is important we identify and repair potholes across the network."
