Repairs to ferry progressing well, says CalMac
CalMac has said its ferry the MV Hebrides could return to its Skye, North Uist and Harris service on Friday following repairs.
The boat was withdrawn earlier this week due a problem with its firefighting system.
Sailings were cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday and there has also been wider disruption after Islay's MV Hebridean Isles was redeployed to provide cover.
CalMac said repairs to the Hebrides in Ullapool were progressing well.
