Work is progressing on a 拢1.4m project to bring First Division champions Ross County's stadium up to SPL standards.

The football club is carrying out a number upgrades to Victoria Park in Dingwall.

Turf has been stripped from the pitch for an under soil heating system to be installed.

Steel framework is in place for a new stand for away supporters at the stadium's north end, and seating will also be fitted to the home Jail End.

Once completed, Victoria Park will have the capacity to seat 6,000 people.

Ranald Gilbert, Ross County's general manager, said: "The 4,737 people who were here for the final home game of the season at the end of April might get a bit of shock to see the place now.

"It's definitely more building site than football ground at the moment, but the work is well under way and we are very pleased with the progress."
