Man arrested over Edinburgh bus stop death
A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a father at a bus stop in Edinburgh.
Nashir Ahmed died in hospital on 10 March, five days after he was attacked, along with another man, on the city's Ferry Road in Leith.
Police launched a murder inquiry shortly after the 65-year-old was pronounced dead.
A 38-year-old man will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday over the incident.
A 48-year-old man was also injured while he waited for a bus with Mr Ahmed at about 20:30.
Both men were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where Mr Ahmed died on 15 March.
Tributes described Mr Ahmed as a "loving husband and father" who was a prominent member of the city's Bangladeshi community.
