She was driving a Mercedes B-class that collided with a tractor and trailer being driven by a 62-year-old man, and a Nissan Qashqai that was driven by a 65-year-old man.
Emergency services were called to the crash between Wormit and Kilmany at about 13:30 on Tuesday, however the woman died at the scene.
Police Scotland said other drivers did not require medical treatment.

"I would appeal to any witnesses to this crash or anyone on this road around the time of the crash who has dash-cam footage to contact us."
