Police make appeal over unexplained fire in Dundee

Police have appealed for information about a fire at a derelict building in the west end of Dundee.

Emergency services were called to the building in Douglas Street at about 15:20 on Monday.

Two aerial appliances were used in the operation, with adjoining streets cordoned off.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said four appliances and a height vehicle attended the scene, and crews remained in attendance.

The fire is being treated as unexplained.

Det Sgt Sean McCabe said: "We are working to establish the full circumstances of this fire and ."

Police have also appealed for CCTV or dashcam footage.
