Portadown: Man found bleeding heavily from shoulder wound
A man in his 30s is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in Portadown, County Armagh.
Police said he was bleeding heavily from a wound to his shoulder when he was found on Wednesday afternoon.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a blade or point in a public place.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said officers responded to a report at 15:25 BST that a man with a knife had been seen on Portmore Street in the town.
The 27 year old man was arrested a short time later in the nearby Deramore Drive area.
He is still in custody.
Police have asked for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or other footage to contact them.
