Coalisland: Man arrested over reported machete threats
Police have made an arrest following a report of a man with two machetes threatening people in County Tyrone.
It happened at about 13:45 BST on the Derry Road in Coalisland.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an article with a blade or point in a public place.
During the arrest, "the man spat at an officer and was further arrested on suspicion of assault on police", the PSNI said.
He remains in custody and police have appealed for information.
