Man hospitalised after Lisburn stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment after being stabbed in Lisburn.

It happened in the North Street area of Upper Ballinderry shortly after 15:30 BST.

Police have arrested a man in his twenties on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted murder.

He remains in custody.

Police did not reveal the age of the man who had been stabbed.
