Newtownbreda: Family 'distressed' after masked men ransack house
A family has been left "extremely distressed" after four masked men burgled their home in south Belfast, police have said.
The intruders, armed with a screwdriver, entered the property in Greenwood Hill in Newtownbreda at about 22:45 BST on Saturday.
A woman and four young children were taken to an upstairs bedroom by two men, while the other two ransacked the house.
Jewellery and a tablet were taken.
Police said the men left at about 23:00.
They have appealed for witnessed or anyone who noticed a white Volkswagen Golf car in the area to contact them.
