Springfield Road: Man released on bail in Joseph Brennan murder probe
A man arrested by police investigating the murder of a man in west Belfast has been released on bail.
The dead man has been named locally as Joseph Brennan, from the Poleglass area.
He died in hospital following an incident in Cupar Street, off Springfield Road, just after 20:00 GMT on Wednesday.
On Friday, police said the 35-year-old man had been released to allow for further enquiries.
They made a further appeal for information and asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
