Larne: Death of child no longer treated as suspicious
Police are no longer investigating the sudden death of a child at a house in Larne, County Antrim.
The child was taken to hospital last Thursday after a report of a medical emergency at Loran Avenue in the town, and subsequently died.
"A post-mortem has now been completed, the death is not being treated as suspicious," a police spokesperson said.
"There will be no further comment from police on this matter."
They added: "The thoughts of the police service are with the family at this difficult time."
