South Belfast: Woman dragged along ground by knife-wielding mugger
A woman has been dragged along the ground by a knife-wielding man who robbed her in south Belfast on Sunday night.
She was approached from behind by a man who pulled her handbag, causing her to strike her head on the ground.
It happened as the woman walked along Salisbury Street at about 21:40 BST.
Her attacker, who is described as being in his 20s, with short hair and wearing shorts and a grey zip-up top, made off with cash and two bank cards.
He was reportedly armed with a small knife and fled in the direction of the Dublin Road.
Police said the victim did not need to go to hospital, but was left shaken by the incident.
Det Sgt Magee appealed for information.
