Newry: Pedestrian is critically ill after collision
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision in Newry, County Down.
The incident, which involved a black Land Rover, happened on the Armagh Road after 18:00 GMT on Tuesday.
The pedestrian, who is in his 50s, was taken to hospital by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) .
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number.
