Police appeal as South Tyneside man Britton Mabrouk 'evades' arrest
Police have appealed for help tracing a man wanted for emergency recall to prison.
Britton Mabrouk is "understood to be actively evading arrest", Northumbria Police said.
The 30-year-old has links to Newcastle and South Tyneside, particularly South Shields.
Officers say "extensive searches" are ongoing across north-east England and warned anyone harbouring a fugitive they could be prosecuted.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the force by calling 101, visiting its website or contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers.
