Motorcyclist dies in two-vehicle Elveden crash
A young motorcyclist has died after a two-vehicle collision near Thetford.
Emergency services were called to Elveden at 05:55 GMT to reports of a collision on the B1106, involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a motorcycle.
In a statement, Suffolk Constabulary said: "Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the rider of the motorcycle - a man aged in his 20s - sadly died at the scene."
The road was closed between Brandon and the A11 but reopened by 13:00 GMT.
A volunteer paramedic from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service charity (SARS), ambulance crews, including an air ambulance, and the police all attended.
The police asked "any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance".
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting CAD 38 of 2 November 2023.
