Doncaster crash: Motorcyclist critical after hitting police car
A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a stationary police car.
South Yorkshire Police said the incident took place on the A638 near the village of Hampole at about 04.55 GMT on Tuesday.
Officers had been dealing with a lorry blocking the outbound carriageway when the crash happened.
A 56-year-old man who was riding a grey Keeway Versilia motorcycle remained in a critical condition, police said.
Officers have asked witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
