Air ambulance called after crash in Nottinghamshire town

An air ambulance landed in a Nottinghamshire town after a crash.
Police were called to Skegby Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, shortly after 18:00 GMT on Thursday to reports of a crash between a motorbike and a car.
The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene and has been taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
The air ambulance was deployed to the scene but it is not known whether it carried the casualty.
An eyewitness said the air ambulance left the scene at 19:25.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information or footage from the area at the time to get in touch.
