Blofield house fire causes 'significant' damage
Crews from 10 fire stations spent Sunday dealing with a large house fire.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received reports of smoke coming from a house in Blofield at about 09:30 GMT.
When crews arrived at the Bullacebush Lane property they discovered the occupants were not at home.
Crews used specialist equipment including breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and aerial ladders to extinguish the blaze and prevent its spread.
Significant damage has been caused to the property, according to the fire service.
On Monday a specialist crew will assess the structural integrity of the house.
