Lincolnshire man found guilty of sexually abusing young girl
A Lincolnshire man was warned he is facing jail after being found guilty of sexually abusing a young girl.
Roger Faulkner, 69, was convicted of eight offences, including two counts of rape on a child aged under 13 by a jury at Lincoln Crown Court.
The court heard the incidents took place in 2013 and 2014.
Faulkner, of Neve Gardens, Donington on Bain, was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.
He had denied all the charges and showed no reaction when the jury foreman returned guilty verdicts.
Judge Sjolin Knight warned him a custodial sentence was inevitable.
"There is only one sentence it can be," she said.
