Skegness: Five held on suspicion of attempted murder
Five men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Skegness.
Lincolnshire Police said officers responded to reports of a man being hit with a metal pole on Roman Bank shortly after 22:00 BST on 1 May.
The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained potentially life-changing injuries in the attack, the force said.
The men, aged 19, 23, 26, 28 and 29, have all been released on bail while investigations continue.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or suspicious activity in the town centre around the time, to get in touch.
