More than 1,300 cannabis plants have been seized in a raid in a Lincolnshire village.

Police said officers made the discovery after a warrant was executed for a property in Oak House Lane in Freiston, near Boston, on Monday.

The crop, which covered five rooms of the unoccupied property, has since been dismantled, Lincolnshire Police said.

Appealing for information, the force said no arrests had been made and investigations were continuing.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen suspicious activity, or vehicles attending the property, during the last three months," a spokesperson said.
