Blackburn attack: Pig's head and brick thrown through house window
Police are investigating after a pig's head and a brick were thrown through the front window of a house.
Two males were then seen running away from the property on Shear Brow, Blackburn, at 22:35 GMT on 18 February, Lancashire Police said.
The force said it was taking the matter "incredibly seriously" and it was treating the incident as a hate crime.
Anyone with information or any witnesses have been urged to contact the force.
A spokesman said: "We do not tolerate hate of any form and we will do everything in our power to identify the offenders and take the appropriate action.
"While this is being treated as an isolated incident, reassurance patrols will be increased in the area as a precaution."
