Weymouth pedestrian hit by car dies in hospital
A pedestrian has died in hospital nine days after she was hit by a car.
Police were called to Dorchester Road in Weymouth at about 17:45 GMT on 13 December.
The local woman, who was aged in her 70s, was seriously injured and died in hospital on 22 December, Dorset Police said.
Officers said the incident involved a blue Mitsubishi car being driven by a man aged in his 60s from Hertfordshire.
Sgt Leanne Howes said: "Our thoughts go out to the family of the woman who sadly died at what must be an extremely difficult time of them, particularly at this time of year."
