Mickleover: Woman trapped under own car after supermarket crash

A woman suffered serious injuries when she crashed into three parked cars and then became trapped under her own vehicle.

Derbyshire Police said the crash happened at Tesco in Mickleover, Derby at 16:40 BST on Wednesday.

The woman, in her 70s, was cut free from beneath her Kia Sedona by firefighters and taken to hospital, the force added.

The car park was closed for several hours while inquiries took place.
