Man due in court after cat attacked in Leamington Spa street
A 71-year-old man is due in court in connection with the kicking of a family's pet cat that reportedly later died.
The proceedings follow the distribution of CCTV footage.
The images, obtained by the Daily Mail, showed a feline being attacked on a street in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
According to the newspaper, the animal reportedly died a few days after the incident of 16 September.
A Leamington Spa man is due before Warwick magistrates on 10 November, in connection with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
