Improved traffic measures at busy Berkshire junction
A major revamp of a busy junction in West Berkshire, sparked by safety fears of parents who walk their children to school, has been completed.
Traffic signals have been upgraded and islands at the junction of the B4009 and A329 in Streatley were removed to provide more room for turning vehicles.
Other changes include the realignment of an existing footway, West Berkshire Council said.
Residents first raised their road safety fears in 2006.
