Watch out trolls! Anne-Marie is coming for you
Singer Anne-Marie says helping people, and hitting back at trolls, is as important to her as making music.
"If I didn't do music, I would do something to help people out," she tells Newsbeat, fresh offstage at Radio 1's Big Weekend.
The 26-year-old is one of British music's rising stars.
She sang and toured with Rudimental before going solo and was the key part of Clean Bandit's huge number one song, Rockabye.
Now she says she wants to use her fame to make life a bit better for others, and she really means it.
"I feel like if there's a platform for me to speak to a wide range of people, then why not?" she tells us.
She often uses Instagram and Twitter to talk about difficult issues like bullying and trolls.
She understands why fellow musicians "just want to talk about music" but says she "wants to talk about everything else as well".
And it's not just a reaction to what her her fans are telling her.
"I put [out] tweets when I'm just feeling something and I want to say it," she said.
"I think it's just constantly on my mind: wanting to help people, not just with music, but with my words. I feel like I want to do that for people."
She now has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.
And her fans love her positive messages - and posts that make you stop and think.
But she admits that social media was a tough place when she first started her career.
"I used to cry a lot. It was so hard at the start because there are so many people just willing to say whatever they want," she explains.
"You take it to heart and then get really affected by it but then after a while you just build up a wall, not necessarily to keep people out... but just if it ever hits you, it bounces back off now."
She tells Newsbeat she no longer looks at social comments, especially on her YouTube page - and that has helped.
"Luckily now I think that I attract people that are really nice, like my fans who are really lovely people.
"They are really encouraging and they help other people out as well, which it's really great.
"I think that if you are always giving that positive thing out you are going to get it back."
