A 21-year-old man has died in hospital after being taken ill while on the way to Radio 1's Big Weekend in Hull.

Humberside Police say his death isn't believed to be suspicious but they've arrested a 20-year-old.

Officers say the man was travelling on a bus from Hull's Paragon Interchange to Burton Constable Hall, but died later at Hull Royal Infirmary.

Police say the man who was arrested is still in custody and that they are continuing their investigation.

Police will be checking bags at stations and bus stops and a second check will be carried out at the site entrances.

On Saturday Katy Perry led tributes to the victims of the Manchester bombing, telling the crowd "we're all in this together".

During her headline slot on Saturday night the US singer dedicated a performance of Part Of Me to those who'd been killed and their family and friends.

She said: "I think that we're all extremely brave and we're all in this together, aren't we?

"We will still dance, we will still sing, we will still make music.

"This next one goes out to Manchester and all the people who know what it means to love music and be a community because of it.

"This is a part of us that they'll never take away from us. Rest in peace Manchester."

Breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw also led a minute's silence at the event at 3pm on Saturday to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester bombing.

Sunday's main performers include Kings of Leon, Stormzy, Clean Bandit, Rita Ora, Bastille, Sean Paul, Shawn Mendes and Little Mix.
