Adele's Rolling in the Deep sets female download record
Adele's Rolling in the Deep has set a US sales record and become the best-selling digital song ever by a woman.
It's also the second biggest digital song of all time, according to official figures by Nielsen SoundScan.
Rolling in the Deep has now sold 6.68 million, ahead of Lady Gaga's Poker Face (6.62m) but still behind I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas (7.82m).
In the UK, her album 21 is already the best-selling this century, shifting more than four million copies.
Rolling in the Deep was downloaded another 99,000 times in America in the week ending 26 February, enough to see Adele claim the new record.
Other songs in the all-time US download top 10 include: Just Dance by Lady Gaga (6.53m), Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas (6.34m) and Dynamite by Taio Cruz (5.9m).
It seems the singer can do no wrong in the US at the moment.
Riding high from her Grammys' success, the live version of Set Fire to the Rain - from her Royal Albert Hall show - is number two in America's Billboard Hot 100.
