Nicki Minaj to star in Ice Age: Continental Drift
US rapper Nicki Minaj is to star in the 20th Century Fox animated film, Ice Age: Continental Drift.
The 28-year-old confirmed on her Twitter and personal website that she'll voice a role in the movie.
She joins Jennifer Lopez and her Young Money Entertainment label mate Drake, who were already cast.
She's also confirmed that she'll make a guest appearance in the third season of the Family Guy spin-off cartoon, Cleveland.
Minaj released her debut album Pink Friday last year on Young Money, the label owned by US rapper Lil Wayne.
It's since gone platinum, selling more than a million copies.
She made it to number 22 in the UK singles chart with Moment 4 Life which featured her Ice Age co-star Drake.
Her latest single, Super Bass, peaked at number 10 in the UK charts.
Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth film in the series, is released in the UK on 6 July 2012.
