Nicki Minaj denies Britney Spears support slot rumours

US rapper Nicki Minaj has denied she is to support Britney Spears at three concerts in the UK this year.

The 26-year-old quashed rumours that she would perform with Spears at London's O2 Arena on 27 October as well as in Birmingham and Manchester.

Nick Minaj released her debut album Pink Friday last year on US hip hop star Lil Wayne's record label.

She made it to number 22 in the UK singles chart with Moment 4 Life featuring Canadian rapper Drake.

The dates for Britney Spears tour are as follows:

London 02 Arena - 27 October

Birmingham LG Arena - 30

Manchester MEN - 6 November
